I would like to know how many plugins should I allow on my site and what's your experience with them.

The pre-installed plugins I have are:
- All In One SEO Pack
- Exclude Pages From Navigations
- WP SpamShield

and I added the following:
- Google Website Translator
- Social Share Buttons
- WP Content Copy Protection & No Right Click.
On "Site Health" it is recommended to keep the number of plugins below 5 and I've read an article on Google where a subtitle stated that the record for the installed plugins on a site was in October last year an incredible number: 637 plugins!
One of our members, Zarina, created a training about kk Star Ratings Plugin, useful for increasing the engagement of the readers (the readers must evaluate if they want, the content we're producing). How do you deal with so many options available?
Thank you for reading and please let me know about your experience with plugins regarding the number of the installed plugin on your sites.
P.S. BTW, I'm using a pro version of a proofreading tool. Have you found any mistakes?
Cristina
