Well, not really, but something cool happened.
I have mentioned in the past how I am now doing paid writing for a couple of different sites. The guy who hired me deals with an SEO company that provides him with keywords that they think I should use in the assignments I am given.
I wrote the other day that this company seems to have a different view of what works well in SEO than we are taught here. I made a few comments about this, but was ultimately told to just do what they wanted, which is fair enough since they are the ones paying me.

Well, to jump ahead to the cool part, the guy that hired me emailed me last night and told me that the SEO company had read and really liked an article on how voice search will be impacting SEO practices in the near future, and now they wanted me to write another article for them. ghost writing as the company's CEO...
I'm finding that pretty awesome! (although admittedly, I would rather have my OWN name out there...)
2018 has been pretty good so far. If I keep having new assignments added, this will add up to a fairly decent bit of side income while I focus on building up my own site.
