Mapping My Way To Success

Hi All!

I have been here at WA for around 2 months now, I have very nearly completed the amazing training as well as done a ton of research outside of the platform to help me figure out an apporach to online business that will suit me.

When i first started, i chose a niche. One i was excited about as it was relevant to what was going on in my life at the time. However, as i made my way through the training, i lost my way. I was running out of ideas for content and i realised that it wasnt something i could stay passionate about.

I had to stop. I had to walk away for a few weeks and remind myself what led me to WA in the first place.

I needed to ask myself a few old questions;

• What do I need to change?
• What makes me happy?
• What makes me unhappy?
• Where do I want my life to be?
• How do I make it happen?

I was downtrodden and fed up for so long because i was unsatisfied with the way my life was going. Then i found WA. I found all the tools and resources i need in order to transform my life. I think i was in shock or the first six weeks that this could actually be happening!

I just needed to figure out a way to apply it all to something that will enable me to live the life i want. Bringing myself back to the main reasons for commiting to WA was what spurred on my epiphany.

I want to travel. I want to take me, my man and a suitcase and i want to see the world. That's it.

So that will be my business venture. Dirr! I know, I dont know why it took me so long to figure that one out either!

I have decided to document my steps and share them with all of you in order to;

1. Help inspire others
2. Help map out my processes
3. Get to know you all better
4. Track my progress
5. Hold myself accountable for my actions

So I got to planning..

Since this eurika moment there has been no stopping me, i see everythnig really clearly, i know what i want to do, and i know exactly how to implement it! Hurrah!

Steps I have already taken..

• I have desinged a brand
• I have Invented a catchy, relevant business name
• I have designed a mission statement that will keep me true to my values and grounded when i make busniess decisions
• I have selected a theme for my website
• I have updated the privacy policy and affilate disclsoure and posted these to my menu
• I have created a Mission page
• I have wrtitten an About Me page that will help people understand who i am, what i am doing and why i am doing it, this also actively asks for engagement.
• I have offered feedback and submitted this newby website requesting general feedback to help understands peoples perception of what i an trying to create.
• I have designed a specific template that will help me create quality, relevant, engaging content and build a relationship with all that wish to follow me
• I have made a list of relevant affiliate links that i will join and use this to research review material
• I have followed a number of people who are already killing it in their niche and continue to watch, observe and admire the way they promote themselves

Phew, when i write it down i can see that this is already a big acheivement! But this is just the beginning.

Going forward

Everytime I update you all on my prgoress, i will tell you excactly what i have done, what it has meant to my business and i will not leave until i plan out my next course of action. This will keep me safe from distraction and you can feel free to kick me up the arse if i am not meeting what i said i would!

So, i have the base of my new business, now its going to get real, over the next 5 days i am going to;

1. Refresh my knowledge by re-watching Module One - Getting started, lessons 4,5,6 & 8
2. Refresh my knowledge by re-watching Module Two - Building Traffic, lessons 3,7,8 & 9
3. Buy a domian for my website
4. Set up an email account
5. Write my first review
