Stop "Overthinking" . Take Baby Steps and Start With One Dollar!

So, your goal is to make a million dollars? I won't discourage you from thinking BIG, but I do hope you have a serious plan of action on such a tremendous goal. First things first...

If your goal was ONE DOLLAR, how do you accomplish achieving THAT? Do you borrow it? Beg for it? Do you, (have mercy, no),Steal it? What do you have to do to pocket ONE DOLLAR? If it does not fall from the sky, do you earn it? Will it be a gift? One dollar sounds quite an obtainable goal. Whatever you do to acquire that ONE DOLLAR, multiple your efforts ONE MILLION TIMES!!! Now, there's your million dollars... Was that a simple task? Exactly.

As a young kid in the 60s, I wanted a bike that my single mom could not afford to buy me. I was about 9 or 10 years old. As a baby, I took baby steps to get that bike. I helped with milk delivery, (Yes I'm that old). The man I worked for delivered milk from his 'ice truck", real blocks of ice is what he used to refrigerate his truck!!! This cheap guy!!! Imagine what he paid me...

That bike was worth a million dollars...TO ME! So, I was paid little to nothing, but my mind was made up. I was going to get that 'million dollars' for that bike! So, struggling through a long, hot summer, ( the ice helped), with that FIRST DOLLAR EARNED, I SAW THE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL... This kid, waking up and working BEFORE the crack of dawn, making a few dollars, dollars that added up... the baby steps got me that bike!!!

Any goal, hefty or not, demands a serious plan of action to achieve. But, of course, if you have a rich family, all that which I just wrote... goes just right out the window!!!
