"Miserable and Crowded At The Bottom!"
Lonely at the top, eh??? Well, it's "Miserable and Crowded At The Bottom!"
I'm back. In the past year, seriously, I've lost a child, two sisters, and a brother. Though it's not much relief to me, none was from Covid. Unfortunately, I, myself was infected with the virus. I've been in full scale recovery from all the misfortunes. I've haven't been on this platform for over a year now, and I need to just get my head back in the game.
While I was "out there", I sort of hit rock bottom as far as motivation was concerned. No inspiration from my peers, as they agreed and excepted that what I was going through was natural. I listened to,"I just went thru the same thing", and, "Take a vacation and get your mind off everything, it is what it is!"
Sometimes we just need, "A cold slap in the face', and,"Get up and get back in line, Soldier!!!" instead of, "Let me buy you a cold drink!" So here we are, like the crabs in the barrel, crying over our sorrows, feeling sorry for ourselves, just drinking like there's no tomorrow, even offering the designated driver to join the drinking party! Well, there are so many of us, being content with being miserable, and passing that misery along to others.
Well, enough is enough! I see all the faces! I see the fear and disenchantment with life! This is not me! So my journey had a major roadblock. Nothing I can't bulldoze my way through! This is my response. It's mostly a mental response. I'm back up and in the saddle again. Clawing my way out of this toxic environment; this, "once upon a time, I had a dream," crowd.
Well, I've been "to the bottom floor"... And believe me, if by chance you make that trip downward, you'll probably want to stay on that elevator!!!

I cannot fathom such a staggering personal loss. My heart goes out to you. It is amazing that you are still standing far less wanting to pick up and go as you desire. With that type of herculean spirit I really do believe you can bulldoze your obstacles. Please take time however to self care because it is so important to ensure we are better emotionally as well as physically. Looking forward to seeing you climb out of the barrel
