It's Very Hard To Fail.

Do you ever think that it's so very hard to succeed? So, what I want to do is flip the script. I think that it's very hard to fail! Remember, as a toddler, you learned to stand up and walk. Ever noticed how much fun they had learning to walk? They would LAUGH as they continually fell down on their rump! And then, just like that, they eventually got the hang of it and started walking. Other children hit the floor once, and said, "Nope, won't happen again, I'm staying right down here where it's safe!" These kids are miserable! Safe, but miserable. Watching those around them,'walking and running', even as kids, they know something is wrong with this picture!!! ("I should be walking like that!")

Yes, failing to walk is 'stressing these children out!" As the 'pressure' mounts, They basically will themselves to 'stand up and join the crowd!' (Failing was unbearable).

In grade school, getting an "F", for failure, meant you did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! All my teachers gave me SOMETHING other than a 'F', even if I just put my name on the paper! ( I made an effort). I thought of the pressure you must have put on yourself; how embarrassing was it to receive that grade; what excuses can you come up with; and how do you explain this to your parents that you didn't even exert some effort... Why would you go through all this when NOT FAILING meant just the simple requirement of getting a 'D'. Not a hard thing to accomplish.

That is what I mean, that FAILING IS HARD TO DO! It seems to take a mental toil on you: The stress can be unbearable here too. One reason why you should NEVER give up. For me, it's a hard pill to swallow to just give up, to ever ponder on the though that it's just easier if I don't try. Just think, 'It's even harder to just let myself fail! I'M STRESSING MYSELF OUT DOING NOTHING OR QUITTING!"

So, before you allow yourself to be defeated after a fall, you're an adult now... LAUGH, STAND UP, and continue onward on your journey ahead to being that successful being that you promised yourself you would be, Laughing ... ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK...

FAILURE, like SUCCESS, will take lots of work... CHOOSE WISELY!!!

This is such a motivating post and it seems obvious to me as a 'big' sister. I guess I was a bit of a motivator (bossy - I think my siblings called it!) and always there to help them help themselves! So, quitting has never been a 'thing', but working out an alternative is usually the issue that gets me stuck.
Thanks for a great read, Sue 😊

Wow, that's an awesome point of view! Thanks for the eye-opener post.

Nice post. Christine

I saved this post for motivation for times when I feel like nothing is going right. But what I didn't think about was that those are only momentary falls and I could have just laughed away that stress and got right back up. Phenomenal post Cornelius.
