Just need to share a moment in my day, today.

Hello, to all my new wonderful like-minded beautiful friends here at WA. It has been awhile since I have been on here due to the crazy busy lives we live, but with that being said so happy to touch base. I have to share a moment in time that I had the ultimate, pleasure of experiencing while I was at work today. So excited to share this, for me it was a sign from my higher power, the universe that I am truly on the right path at this time in my life OMG. So another day, in my life as I know it. I get up, rush around, get all of my six puppies fed, watered, loved, all cuddled up in their room(yes they have their own room)(yes I rescue) and yes I love animals, trying to put my lipstick on and out the door I stumble to get to my 9-5 on time. So all is well, working away, and two girls I know and adore that own this restaurant come in. We start chatting about their new-found success in their restaurant, lots of smiles and giggles, so happy they are doing awesome. The girls start asking about me, how am I doing, we start talking about my disabilities, and if I had any future plans about where I was going to take my life after my very rewarding thirty- two years in the waitressing business due to my handi- caps. (yes, I have brain injuries which has led to many other things) but I never did mind about the little things, and always been up to a challenge. So I start telling them I am currently taking some amazing courses on line with WA, I am learning so much, wonderful people, and great teachers. I tell them I have this dream of being able to pursue my true passions, and somehow making them work for me so I can just breathe, and live the life I feel my daughter and I truly deserve through a lot of heartache, struggle, perseverance, love, and believing and never giving up. This is where for me it gets good. So the one girl asks, do you have a web- sight as to where you can do this? OMG, this might be nothing to some but to me, it was a true sign from up above. Before I could say well I have a little something on Facebook(which I have tried setting up sometime ago, she says oh I found you, I said you did are you on Facebook, SHE SAID NO I JUST GOOGLED YOUR SIGHT. I said what, what do you mean, she said I just GOOGLED YOU. OK maybe not a big deal to some, I am sure we are all on there, not sure, but my sweet friends for the first time in a long time I felt so proud of myself, and I had the biggest grin, but most of all I felt like dreams can come true, and I can make this happen, and I am going to make this happen, I felt like there is hope, I actually had tears of joy in my eyes. I felt a little less pain in my body. You see, for me in that moment I realized how my priorities for finding happiness in my life have changed so much. Its just the small milestones now, to know that I stepped out of my comfort zone, taking a chance, and truly going to really, really pursue my dreams, even at my age and believing I can do it, means soooo much to me. It makes me feel lighter, and happier, deep in my soul. If a person can have even a little of that in a day, life is pretty good. It is the little things. If it wasn't for all you wonderful people, and our wonderful teachers, and the warmth that WA offers, I really don't know if I would still be here.
