1973 - Those Were the Days
Let's see ... what was I doing in 1973. Oh yes, I had just completed my training as a hairdresser ... I was still seeing my highschool sweetheart (together 4 years) ... looking for an apartment ... and ...
Which one am I? Clue ... I am not wearing a tux!
Are you exactly where you thought you would be 42 years later? Have you learned to dream big ... but also roll with the punches? I have rethought and redirected my life many times over (and now doing it again!) ... but one thing that has remained, steadfast and strong ... ME ... and my highschool sweetheart (together 46 years)!

but it is nice to have someone who understands those changes and you grow together that takes commitment of a special kind
That is true ... but you never know when a special someone will come along ... if you're open to it. My Mom got married this last time when she was 76 ... she is now 84 & they are still going strong! M
You're the bride right????? Just guessing that because you talk about your wedding. Funny, I completed MY hair dresser boards in 1972 and got married in 1972! Yours lasted a lot longer though. LOL. Ya done good!!!!!
Awwwww, that's so sweet. I love the way you have date night too. Does he have a brother??? LOL.
Melody, congrats, that is so beautiful.
Now you are on a new journey together.
With your WA virtual family.
You are the Blushing Bride.
It would seem Melody that after 42 years you met your soul mate. Not every does,I do not even have a relationship in my life and I am not sure I could have now.I think I enjoy my own company most of the time and I have probably got a bit selfish.
You never know ... when you might meet "the one" ... always be rethinking and redesigning life! M

Great picture. I was in my first year of college. I graduated in '72. No I am not where I thought I'd be, but where I'm at is okay... for now. :)
We're rebuilding ... with WA ... on the track to something new! Awesome! M
You are so right. Awesome! :)
