Carletta's Crazy Life Update!
Good evening, everyone! I pray that you’re all doing well today! I’m here to give you all an update from the fiasco that was the past 5 months. Haha. Long story short, on August 12, 2020, I lost my job, had my house burned down by one of my own relatives (this individual, whom I had done so much for and never would have expected to do such a thing, also stole my tv set and both of my computers, leaving me unable to post articles for over 2 months), my former employer tried to get out of sending me my severance package (I threatened to pursue legal action against them; I’m in the legal field myself), and my mother and I (I care for my disabled mother) stayed with a relative until our house could be rebuilt (thankfully, our house was insured).
Fast forward to now, things have DRASTICALLY changed for the better! I now have a new job (I just started last week!), my mother and I now live in our newly built house, my relative has repented of his sins (he asked for my forgiveness) and is offering to reimburse me for everything that my mother and I lost, I have just received my severance package (we definitely needed it!), and though my mother is slightly under the weather at the moment, she’s definitely getting better! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! Thank you, Jesus! God is good!

Joe! How are you doing today, my friend?! I thank God everyday for shining his grace and mercy on me; it's because of him that things are moving in the right direction. Even with everything going on, I never lost faith, I kept my eyes on Jesus, and I knew that he would bring me through, in his perfect time. I am so grateful for his unconditional love, and I'm ecstatic to be back! God bless you!
