Thumbs Up To WA

The first time I touched a computer without the help of Wifey or an employee was in 2013. At that time I was paying a website developer to Design and manage a business website.

After suffering a stroke, I was forced to use the computer to research information about my condition and find ways to exercise the brain.

It required learning about the computer, online arketing and how to manage the existing website, paying for service was becoming too expensive.

After months of searches and a couple unfavorable experiences; I happened to find WA. I have been a happy premium member since then.

Despite my IT challenges, I am doing well, thanks to site support when the challenges prove to be proven challenges, because I always try and try again.

The first time I became aware of how much I had learned at WA, was an occasion I sought help from an established IT firm, only to find out the technician did not even understand some of my language, I had to act as interpreter. Where did you learn that from? he asked.

It happened again this week, I was having difficulty installing an update, and the technician did not even know the name of the update; that's how much I am continuing to learn at WA;

I have rebuilt my first website and have two other operating websites, built with the training from WA.

How is your progress at WA?

Good Morning Courtney,

I also started with a computer by the end of 2013. I only used it for emails, photos, and following Summits and Masterclasses of my interests.
I started in January of 2017 with WA. I have 2 sister sites as they sometimes overlap, one on health and the other on environmental issues. They have the same theme and are treated equally, the same amount of posts.
I never knew I was capable to learn so many technical things, I am surprised myself.

Greetings from the south of Spain, Taetske

Greetings from a cloudy and rainy Anguilla, we are rejoicing, the most prolonged rain for the year, we rely on the rain for water. I had a similar experience with overlapping websites, but corrected that, nw one for Health and the other for Education, not bad given my challenges with IT. Stay well and joyful.

I mean with overlapping that if I have a post on health it might be also related to the environment and vice versa.

We got our first rain on the 13th, had not rained since April. In big regions of Spain, there were the worst floods of the last 140 years, big parts were declared zona catastrophic, not good.

This coming Friday 27th I will join the Global Climate Strike in Malaga. I will be holding a board with bUnited and the 5G Space Appeal and hope to talk to a lot of people.

All the best, Taetske

I can't understand how come some people don't respect climate change; we went nearly one year without a rain that lasted ore than 2 minutes at the most, everybody was buying water for everyday use at $US1.67 per gallon, there was even a waiting list for delivery. On the other hand other places are flooded. I am proud of the youth movement that has taken up the cause. The need to get more involved in protecting their future on all fronts.

I created 3 websites without completely understanding the lessons. Now I have difficulty in maintaining with contents.

At least you said -without completely understanding- I share that sentiment, but the technology changes almost every day, so we may all be in the same boat, on the other hand it takes practice to gain perfection,

Right, even updating and everything.

That's really impressive, despite your challenges. The site gives us all a sense of purpose and targets to work towards. Before I joined, i'd been made redundant. I had lots of skills, but nowhere to really use them until I started here.

Now I try to write each day and am seeing my traffic rise slowly and income follows. I've made about £500 from the affiliate marketing so far in just over 12 months here. I'm stepping things up now.

Dave

Great progress.keep it up
