The last two months was a milestone in my life, only one of my four children grew up in the same location, and the one that did was abroad studying for the last nine years at different Universities..

She is now back home and will take up her position as a clinical psychologist in the local department of social services as from 1 November.

For the past two months I was spending quality time with three of the children and enjoyed every minute of it; I felt we have bonded more than ever before.

We spent every day on one of Anguilla’s beautiful beaches, and was interrupted only a few times by other visitors to the beach; It was like living on a desert Island.

Most of the Island is waking up from a year of slumber, preparing for a tourist season, due to begin on 15 December; thanks to hurricane Irma.

I do not regret not creating any art for the past two months; it was a welcome sacrifice, now I must continue preparing for upcoming exhibitions.

Unfortunately my engagements on WA will be limited, but every effort will be made to enjoy some communications.

My heart goes out to the people of Florida, and other areas affected by hurricane Michael; believe me, experiencing a category 4 hurricane is a traumatic experience like none other. The Puerto Rico experience should be a lesson to all.

Let’s pray there were no loss of lives; and no further lives will be loss after the fact. We must appreciae the necessity to protect our planet. Global warming is gospel, building codes must change, and zoning for construction must be examined.
