High Page Ranked Aged Domains
Usually aged domains have high page rank. Page Rank or PR measures a web pages authority and is determined by backlinks. Lots of relevant backlinks indicate to the search engines that your domain has authority and that means it will get more traffic and climb up on the SERPs. It is a numeric scale that goes from 0 - 10. Use "info:domain.comn" If the result brings up another domain, it's been forwarded an ignore it. Use majestic SEO for checking data. Getting a high pr domain gives you a bead start in the game. Some aged domains have a pr of 5 or 6. Of course, the higher the pr, the more they cost and it is not unlikely to pay $500 for a 10 year old domain with pr of 5 or 6. But now you have instant authority and it doesn't take you a year or so to get your website to pr 2 or 3. Go to Register Compass to find domains that are old and have high pr. Only look at the auction domains, not expired or expiring domains. The higher the pr, the more it will cost. But it's worth getting the headstart and leaving others in the dust who buy new damains and try to rank them from scratch.
