Wow my boss sucks
This jobs a joke
As many of you know I was in the hospital for about a week with the rhinovirus and respiratory infection. I'm just giving you my update that I feel %100 better and I haven't had a cigarette in 2 weeks and feel great.
well, I'm writing this blog to let my boss know that he sucks lol. well I only been with this company for almost 3 months now and i was out of work for a little over a week and when I came back to work my boss wrote me up for being in the hospital, I was like wow, really. Then when it rains it pours, 2 days ago I was at work and I got a
phone call from my sister in law she said that my wife passed out and broke her leg, so I had to leave work early to be with her, my wife is a diabetic with heath problems. I get a phone call yesterday from my boss he said I was terminated I was like really for being with my wife lmao this job was a joke anyway.
so i went online yesterday filled out 6 apps i have 2 interviews on Monday and 1 on Tuesday so no big deal lol. I tried looking online to make sure that it was legal what my boss did but couldn't find anything. I told my boss that my health and my wife is more important than this shitty job.
I been smoking for 30 years and didn't think it would be this easy to quit i still get the urge but I pop a piece of candy in my mouth and I'm good to go. Thank You, and have a good day.

I found out today that my wife is getting surgery tomorrow morning on her leg and she's on blood thinners so the doctor said it could be a tricky procedure
So many don't realize just how crappy being a trucker can be; although I don't know the specifics, you should definitely find out if any 'recourse' for this boss (?) is possible. You are a great person and a fantastic husband. Hoping all works out well with your wife's surgery; please let us know.
thank you, I tried looking online and I left a message for the labor board to see if this is legal they were closed so hopefully by Monday I'll find out more.

Just typical so many companies these days are just interested in making money, hope your wife is much better and wish you all the best with finding other work
yes, my family more important I'm a truck driver so it will be easy to find a job we only had 8 drivers and every other week a driver would quit. I tried e-cigs before and they help me cut down but I never quit with them so I went to the hospital after a week being in there I didn't want one no more good luck in quitting

I am glad you were with your wife since the family is most important.

here's an update my boss can kiss my ass lol I found a job within 2 days of being fired lol and making more money and day shift with weekends off being a CDL instructor for a local school
