Feeling Discouraged About Not Making Sales
Hello WA Family!
I am back again once to say it seems as though I am not having much success as much as I have been working hard at my websites. NO sales!
I have been through the training several times, watched webinars, training videos and I still can't seem to find a way to profit at all from this.
Even promoting WA is resulting me in visitors and a few people creating accounts through my links but then they dont continue on it's like they become frightened and take off.
I don't know what else to do? Please help!!

There are no guarantees with any business. Just keep at it.
Remember some will, some won't so what.
Keep sending traffic.
Perhaps consider a different niche than WA. I bet there are lots of other things that you are interested in, places where the competition is different. I'm honestly not convinced that everyone should pitch WA first. Think of it this way - when you have a successful affiliate site, then all that you discuss about WA will have a greater ring of truth because you've lived it. Hang in there!
You are obviously doing something right as people are coming to your site and signing up to WA.
You may be doing this but when people create accounts do you engage with them on a personal level by sending messages to ask how they are getting on and if they need anything. I know you can do this through the automated messages but maybe sending a personal message every few days so that you can actually get to know them as people. When I started I had very little contact with my referrer and it would have been something I really appreciated.
Just a thought!
Best Wishes

Have patience, may take time, but eventually I m sure you will be playing with millions. Dont forget Mr. Gillette took seven years to eventually make his first sale after introducing twin blade shaving system, and you are just seven months into this. We know now that Gillette is a worldwide known brand now. Patience and perseverance will ultimately pay up. It HAS to!!!
Don’t give up...you’re at 7 months...this is that fragile time when you’re on the cusp. I see you said sites, plural. Are you giving each one the attention they need? How many posts do you have on each? Are you engaging social media and are you getting any comments and replying to them?
I have 5 websites. It's getting hard juggling more than one thing as I thought I could in the beginning. Some websites have content and some don't. I have fan pages on each website on FB. No comments or replies
Hi C, I understand at least part of your frustration as I too would love to be making sales and could really use some positive cash flow right now!
But I've also learned here on WA and in other business books I'm reading that it requires patience to build a real business. There's a lot of hype among some internet marketers which has led a lot of us to believe that if we just put up a website and have products for sale that we'll get people coming to our sites and wanting to buy products.
But as we learn here on WA, we have to have keyword rich content on our sites which attracts visitors (traffic). So, even though I am still learning all of this myself, a few things I would suggest after reading your post are to take a long term approach to building a real business, focus on writing good content on each of your sites, and maybe focus most heavily on one site that you're most motivated by.
Also, if you want to get targeted traffic to your site(s), you can create ads on Facebook where you can put in the exact things you want in your audience, such as age, gender, interests/keywords that fit the niche of what you're trying to sell. This way, your ad should reach people who are more ready to buy.
Yet, we must remember that a key component of success with online business is adding value to others before we try to get them to buy from us. That's why there's so much focus on writing quality content; if people find information they're looking for on your site, and you have a call to action which tells them how to buy it, they may buy it from you and become one of your sales/conversions.
But the real focus of the successful internet marketers (IMs) I've seen is to give first, build an audience of followers, gather their email addresses through an opt-in form, build an email list and then use an auto responder (AR) to send out offers to these people with whom they've developed a business-consumer relationship.
One of my favorite IMs who does this very effectively is Pat Flynn. His blog is called Smart Passive Income(SPI) and I have been following him for a few years. We are fortunate that we have a great platform here at WA where we can learn to build sites and we can get help from people who have successfully done so.
I hope this reply helps you in some way and I wish you the best of success on WA!
Take care,
Jamie
(P.S. I think I'll make this reply into a blog post since it's the most blogsy sort of thing I've written. :)
Courtney,
When you get referrals make sure to follow up with
them that is important.
And please check out this blog by Vitaliy: Is your site's traffic dying down? Don't freak out. Do not quit - success is just around the corner :)
Don’t be disheartened you are not alone. I get some referrals too but no one even seem to try moreover to go premium. I have the assurance though that one day I will see a breakthrough
