I recently renewed my hosting charges for one more year. If I cancel my account now, would my site become inactive? won't it be available on Google?
I recently renewed my hosting charges for one more year. If I cancel my account now, would my site become inactive? won't it be available on Google?
It seems due to clicking wrongly somewhere, an 'edit' button has popped on all the pages of my site just below the page heading. how do I remove it?
It will usually always show depending on what theme you are using.
Its a handy function but it wont show up when other people land on your site.
You should also see this function with your comment section but again it doesn't show on your Website when people land on it.

I have installed a new theme. The problem is the footer bar is getting displayed right in the middle of the page that displays the info about the ownership of the theme. how
Hi, Rohit, Try this: In Customize, click on Additional CSS and insert the following code:
footer {
position: absolute;
bottom: 0;
width: 100%;
background-color: #??????;
color:#??????;
}
Just change the colors and width to whatever you want.. If it doesn't work just delete it.

Hi, Rohit, you probably need to make your home page a static front page. Click on Appearance>Customize, scroll down to Static Front Page, click on it and select A Static Page, in the box under Front Page type Home, don't forget to update. Hope this helps, best wishes.
When you are in your Wordpress dashboard, try going to "Customize." Where you go from there will probably vary depending on your theme. It may be under the "General settings." or Homepage settings. If not in one of those two places, just keep clicking on your other options.
