I have tried creating a blogspot account. So I cound use adsence from google and it said I am not able to do so. I think it is beause I am on an android tablet.

Forgive my ignorance, please explain what blogspot has to do with Adsense. I've been using Adsense for many years and I access my account through my Google log in.
Can i advertise on craigslist to boost traffic to my site?
Yes, you can advertise on Craigslist. I have seen folks get some good traffic from there. I'm more partial to social media marketing though.
A free site for extra traffic is http://traffboost.net
But don't expect 1000 a day or you have to spend awful a lot of time in it... Or otherwise you pay...
