Tags is like a sub-categories. Using tags to your blog posts would let people and search engine to find your content easily.

I build my site on rubixsite, I move it to my own website. I am trying to load the same theme, Ascent, to my sandbox site on rubixsite and it is not available to me. What's up
I have Ascent Lite installed (but not activated) on my test website so I know it exists. But it's not available in the WordPress repository. If a theme or plugin is abandoned or not safe then it gets removed from the WordPress repository. So you'll want to use a different theme.
Thanks Marion. I used the ascend theme on rubixsite when I started building my site. I move it to my own website. I have a 'sandbox' rubixsite. I want to practice in the sandbox without affecting my website. Ascend was on my first rubixsite but now I cannot find it. woe is me!!!!
Have you got the spelling right? There's a theme called AscenT Lite which is no longer available and there's another theme called AscenD which is available.
Did you add the theme in WP dashboard for your new site? I think every website is it’s own entity, so you would need to add new theme, download and activate to the new site to make it available.

Why can I not get ascend them on my rubixsite?
