Now I get it.
I have been with Wealthy Affiliate for almost a year now, and I thought I was doing well since it was so easy to write the articles. Everything seemed to come naturally for me. Then I asked Carson to look at my website and see what he thought.
After a day or so, Carson sent me a nice long review, and basically told me that I missed the mark, and what I had would never draw the traffic I wanted. I must admit, I was angry and just put my computer down for a few days to sulk.
Once I got through my pity party, I decided to read Carson’s review more optimistically. He explained that I was not helping my viewers like I thought I was, and I needed to add alot more direction and more links to more articles.
I did some research on web pages that successful people wrote, and I immediately understood what he was trying to tell me. I changed my page immediately and started seeing better results that day. I am still trying to improve it, then I may invite Carson to look at it again.
Here is my point… I had gotten so many generated comments, I thought I was doing great. I forgot that the people who were sending me my comments were all supposed to send good comments, not necessarily constructive ones.
Remember, there is a feedback forum under your website tab. This feedback is not like the comment, as it is much more constructive. Don’t make the same mistake that I did. If it wasn’t for Carson, I probably would have gone six months with no traffic before I discovered anything wrong.
I wish you all the best in you businesses and have an awesome WA day!
