Steep Learning Curve!
Well, I've made it to lesson 10 on level 2 and here I am writing my first blog. This is a steep learning curve for me as I'm not a 'techy' at all. :) My husband found it hysterical when I told him I went on the Live Chat to ask how to refresh a page. I've realised since there is even a button on my keyboard for this! Yesterday, the ever helpful and highly responsive Abi may recall that I had to ask what a browser was too.
I'm really out of my comfort zone, but I think that's a good thing. It has been a strange year for me battling cancer - and winning I'm pleased to say, and I'm still finding my feet again after chemo-radiation. I was diagnosed in January and finished treatment in April. I think I still have a touch of 'chemo-brain'! This project is giving me something positive with which to occupy my mind and work towards my goals of learning new skills and hopefully making significant income. I seriously believe that it is highly beneficial for the brain to be stretched, and this is certainly doing it for me. I am pleased with what I have accomplished so far, as I have a few posts on my website now, complete with pictures :)
I love writing content, and I find that aspect pretty easy. My niche is The Carnivore Diet, and I love the topic and have benefited so much from practicing it myself, so I am passionate about sharing this way of eating with anyone who will listen. The aspects that I find difficult are the technological side of things - I may be asking for a bit of help with organising my website soon - the widgets seem to be more complicated than those that were shown on Kyles's website in the training.
The course is enjoyable and fairly easy to follow and I am so proud of how far I have come already. I look forward to learning more and I feel excited about the prospect of earning some money doing something I love.
I feel confident knowing that there is a community of folk on here who are always ready to lend a hand, and I don't feel stupid asking questions. well, maybe just a little.

Hi Clair, I admire your determination to succeed in this journey. I know it's not easy battling cancer as I was on the same situation 8 years ago but by the grace of God I survived. I can see you're a very strong lady and I wished you all the best and success here in WA.
Congrats on beat your bout with Cancer, Clair, and for building your positive mindset afterwards! No need to feel stupid at all about asking questions--the only dumb question is the one not asked!
