How I'm Getting Along
So after a few weeks of starting my website and doing some work with content I am feel that I am doing fairly well.
I feel that my content is pretty solid. I think that I write pretty well and I enjoy the topic that I am writing about. It is something that I am passionate about and I feel that I have a good base of knowledge on it.
I am not overall happy with my webpage design and the speed with which my posts are getting indexed with google. So far of the 5 posts I have written only one of them has indexed. I guess I thought that the indexing process would be much faster then what it is. I don't fully understand how the indexing works, but I'm sure that I'll learn more as I go along. Right now I am just trying to learn step by step and build a solid base to work on.
One way I have been drawing some traffic to my site is with social media. I have started posting my articles to my facebook page and I have gotten a lot of people to go and see what I am doing by doing that. The one problem with approaching it that way is that people are not posting comments on the website, they are posting their comments to facebook where they don't help me. I guess things will come with time though.
All in all I'm happy and I hope to have fun building much more content in the future.

You've been busy! Congrats!
Remember, you can place affiliate links into your Facebook posts as well. So if you're developing an active following there, take full advantage of it. Our ultimate goal is to make money. Getting comments is just one step along the way, but if you can make sales now, do it!
Congrats man! I think it is awesome that you are following through and creating now! One thing in looking at your blog, I think more photos and color may help people get drawn into to engage with your post. Aside from that, it takes time (the last thing we want to hear!).
