DAY 77: Wake Up - You're a Miracle (77 Day Challenge)

These two powerful stories have a message and you should take your time to read through them properly.

I read the story of A gentleman who found an eagle’s egg and put it in a nest of a hen. The eaglet hatched with the brood of chicks and grew up with them.

All through his life, the eagle did what the chicks did, because it believed he was nothing but a chicken. He scratched the earth for worms and insects to feed, walked with them,

He clucked and cackled and did everything a chicken would do. He would thrash his magnificent wings and fly a few feet into the air but could not sustain flight.

A few years passed and this chicken-eagle grew very old.

One day he saw a magnificent bird above him in the cloudless sky gliding in graceful majesty among the powerful wind currents, with just a beat of its strong golden wings.

They looked the same but what he saw was a miracle

The old eagle looked up in awe. “Who’s that?” he asked a fellow chicken “That’s the eagle, the king of the birds,” said the chicken.

“He belongs to the sky. We belong to the earth—we’re chickens.”

So the eagle lived and died a chicken, for that’s what he thought he was

There’s another famous story about a lion who came upon a flock of sheep and to his surprise found a lion among the sheep.

It was a lion who had been brought up by the sheep ever since he was a cub. It would bleat like a sheep and run around like a sheep.

The lion went straight for him, and when the sheep-lion stood in front of the real one, he trembled in every limb.

And the lion said to him, “What are you doing among these sheep?” And the sheep-lion said, “I am a sheep.” And the lion said, “Oh no you’re not. You’re coming with me.”

So he took the sheep-lion to a pool and said, “Look!” And when the sheep-lion looked at his reflection in the water, he let out a mighty roar, and at that moment he was transformed.

So, my friend, You've just read two powerful stories that show that you are what you believe.

So what are you going to be? An Eagle that never discovered it's potential or A lion that realizes Who it is and ROARS

look in the mirror and ask yourself this question. WHO AM I?.

Your answer is what matters( and would determine the belief systems that guide you)
