The Story Of The Butterfly!

This picture of the butterfly has a special story behind it! My fiance and I were on vacation. We stopped at Mount Pilot in North Carolina to enjoy the view from the top of the mountain. The temperature that day was hovering at 104 degrees. After enjoying the view and taking pictures, as we were returning to the car, we saw this beautiful butterfly, and as we were watching this butterfly in flight it landed on the railing next to us. My fiance placed his hand on the railing a few inches from the butterfly and we watched as the butterfly slowly approached him, and then began drinking the moisture from his finger. Animals tend to be drawn to him, yet this was truly special! The other visitors were all stopping to watch in amazement, some taking pictures. As his favorite color is blue I thought it added to the specialness of the moment! Also Butterflies represent New Beginnings! God the Father has often blessed me by bringing butterflies into my pathway as He knows how much I cherish them, and how they remind me of Him and renewed life in Him. At those times, and this day was one of those times, I feel it is as though it is His way of sending His, "I Love You!" For in that moment was felt the unity of Love between my fiance and God's beautiful expression of creation, God and myself! As I am usually behind the camera, I really didn't have a picture to use for my profile, and I like using this picture because it is my way of including my fiance and the unity of Love felt in that moment, in all that I am doing! It is my profile on my facebook page as well, for all the same special reasons!
