Being Indexed- Headed in the Right Direction

I received an email yesterday stating that my content has been indexed.

My first reaction- a feeling of accomplishment.

Why? It's a sign that I'm headed in the right direction. I know that I'm doing this the right way.

Honestly, it's one thing to tell people I own a website. Even better, I can show them.

Best of all, having them search and find it for themselves.

Here is something that I created. And, it's on view to the world (the world of the internet). That's an amazing thought.

As a former teacher, I created worksheets, lesson plans, attendance records, and other documents (content, if you will). But, I never owned any of it. It was district policy that anything I created to be used at school was owned by the school.

How did that make me feel? Frustrated. I spent all that time creating things that were of use to others, whether it was my students or other teachers. And, I couldn't even claim it as my own.

But now, I create content that helps others. It's my style and voice. It's my website. It's my ideas.

Moreover, it's my passion to help other lupus sufferers that will pour out of my content. And, that's what will build trust. That's what will get them coming back. It's that level of trust that will turn them from visitors into purchasers.

Yes, getting indexed is a great accomplishment.

Why? Because Google has deemed by content to be useful.

Google's mission statement is "to organize the world's information and make it universally acceptable and useful."

Now, that's meaningful. Google has declared my content useful.

Where do I go from here? I need to increase my ranking to increase the value of usefulness of my content. To do that, I'll continue to apply what i've learned here at Wealthy Affiliate.

The training has been fruitful this far, so I know that it will continue to benefit me as I go forward.

Being indexed is proof that it's working. Therefore, I need to continue following this direction to success.
