An Educational but Astonishing Journey

Some of you might know me from the "live chat" room that I frequent whenever I get in a pinch and have not had success in finding the information that I need to press onward. I've learned a lot thus far but , I've just touched the tip of the iceberg.

When I first started out I thought I wanted my niche to be "Sleep Apnea". Because I knew that I've had a lot of real world experience on the subject and I felt I could really help somebody with their struggle against this sleep depriving affliction.

I wrote a few things about it, and then I wouldn't come back to WA for a while. I'd just not "feel" like writing. I wondered if this was going to be like my other ventures, where I would get started and then just let everything fall by the wayside. I felt guilty, and unfulfilled about my progress.

That was until I read an article written by Kyle which basically, and affectively said "don't write about what you know; write about that which you are passionate; what you absolutely love. So I went all the way back to the beginning of my training and changed my niche.

I thought honestly about my niche and I finally knew what my passion was; I knew what would make me feel totally fulfilled writing about; that niche was the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Some of you might not even like this subject matter or you might not even believe there is a God. That's OK, everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and opinions.

I was right though, this niche was "the one" that I knew fit.

So far I have written 6 articles and I plan on writing quite a number more. I find great satisfaction in what I'm writing, and I'm "stoked" about the opportunities that lay ahead!

I feel like I have a great opportunity to change lives. That phrase has been so over used that It doesn't mean much anymore, so let me use another phrase: I feel like I have an outstanding opportunity to alter, or remodel lives that need answers and minister to people who are broken, or those who need acceptance, forgiveness, and life.

I've been going through the training here at WA at a snails pace, but not everyone learns at the same rate, but what matters is I am learning and I hope in the up and coming months, especially the next 3, to finish my training. Then in the following 6 months I want to start making an income.

I'm going to have to "step up my game" if I'm to make the income I need to give up my day job, and work from home. There are some other circumstances relating to my illness that factor into the whole equation, that I must consider too.

I look forward to knowing folks are finding, reading, and responding to my content as I progress in the rankings and my site gains popularity.

So, I kind of hear someone saying, "You are trying to make money off of other people's pain." No I'm simply trying to offer "knowledge" about my niche, and what my readers take away from it, and what they decide to do with it, is there prerogative.

Even Paul the Apostle, in the scriptures constructed tents to make an income for himself, while he was preaching and teaching the Gospel of Grace; and that's what I'm attempting to accomplish here.

I look at myself as a steam locomotive; I'm moving towards a full head of steam. My train starts out slow and gains momentum more and more every passing day, and God willing this train isn't stopping anytime soon.

You're welcome, Chris! Oh, and btw, I noticed I called you by the wrong name, so I edited the comment--sorry about that!

Have a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Think nothing of it

Much appreciated, Chris! It is not my first time making such a mistake and probably won't be the last. Like you, I ignore it when it happens to me as it often does!
