I Started With No Affiliate Marketing Internet Training
Probably like most of you, I started at WA with no affiliate marketing internet training. And like many of you, I didn't have any real understanding about SEO. But here we are, tens of thousands of us!
What got me here.
A dream to be myself, be creative, and make a living (all of which are fun) is why I am working hard at becoming successful at affiliate marketing. I want this like the candidates on American Idol or Britian's Got Talent want to win. (Can you guess I'm a type A personality?)
What got me here at WA.
The free start up is what landed me here at Wealthy Affiliate. 2 free sites and 10 basic lessons - you can't beat that! Previously I took an online course in Digital Marketing. I enjoyed it and learned some stuff. But then I came here and learned 10x more for free - unbelievable!
What keeps me here.
The vast amount of knowledge and training is why I'm still plugging along. Everywhere I turn, from the formal stuff with Kyle to the Live Chat to the member blogs, there is a massive amount of info and teaching.
To be honest, I've never been a part of a network before, so I have nothing to compare it with. However, this much training has to be wildly expensive through a formal education.
Now after just a couple months, I have over a dozen posts ranked in Google. There is still soooo much here for me to learn, but going from total internet ignorance to being in Google's gaze blows my mind.
What slows me down.
I have some significant health challenges that make doing most anything other than reclining very difficult. But I have learned that everyone has (or very soon will have) something that is making progress problematic. I just had to decide if I had an excuse to fail or a struggle to overcome.
So with the wind of WA at my back, I'm plugging along, seeking my next achievement; first page ranking.
O, and by the way, my sense is that I am in a network full of overcomers!

I can say we do have the no knowledge when we first started. I didn't even know what any of these words meant. I am sorry for your struggles and wishing you the best.
Hey Chris (Friend),
We’ve been following each other for quite some time now. I want you to know that I am impressed by your work. I am also thrilled to have you in my network.
Keep it up,
Eric
