Thankful For Our Community Here At WA
I'm only just starting my online career, so I'm certainly no expert in the field yet. But what I AM an expert at is apathy and procrastination. I basicly have a doctorate in putting off important things until "tomorrow".
But I realized something recently. If I don't change, nothing is ever going to change. Therefore in order to live differently...I have to live differently. If that doesn't make sense please let me explain.
Every single one of you reading this blog right now are (in my opinion) part of an elite group of people who sincerely desire something more from life and are willing to actually work for it. And while this may sound strange, I mean it when I say that all of you here at WA are now my social group. I need to surround myself with people who value the same things as I do. Things like success and providing value to others.
I'll be honest. I don't have a lot of like minded friends. It's been said that you are the sum of the 5 people with whom you spend the most time. Well, if that's true then I want to spend my time here with all of you at Wealthy Affiliate. Because if I can be the sum of the people with whom I assiciate with the most, then I can't think of a better community in which to spend my time.
Today was a strange day for me. I spent all of my morning and most of my afternoon getting ready for something that never ended up happening. I could have spent that time completing WA training or interacting with all of you and gained SO MUCH more from it. Then as if that weren't enough of a lesson for me I decided to spend my night doing something equally unrewarding.
I guess what I'm trying to get at here is that I really do appreiciate everything and everyone here at WA and I will absolutely NOT be taking it for granted anymore. I feel like I haven't been taking full advantage of everything that's offered here. And that changed as of tonight.
Please don't fall victim to the same social traps that I have. If you want something different from life then you have to DO something different WITH your life. It really is that simple...to start.
So all of this to say that I thank every single member here at WA and I really hope that you find the passion and drive to create your own success, whatever that means to you.
PLEASE leave any comments or questions. I want to interact with all of you as much as I can. Not only for my own benefit but for yours as well. We can all learn from each other. Everyone brings something different to the table. So lets band together and help each other succeed.

You have the right mindset for success Chris, and I agree that it's too easy to waste time on things that don't matter. I rarely spend much time on Facebook these days and would rather spend time interacting with fellow WA members. I wish you every success, and hope you achieve all your goals:) Kathy

Chris, I have a Doctorate is procrastination, or as I like to put it, putting out the biggest fires first! You'll develop your own method of how to deal with things in your business the further you go along! Nice post!
