ClickBank University: My First Effort

Before I tried Wealthy Affiliate, I went through ClickBank University 2.0 (ClickBank). ClickBank had very good informaiton, but nowhere near the depth of Wealthy Affiliate. I completed its entire training course within a week and receivd a certificate statiing I was Certified in Digital Marketing Essentials. With that and $0.79 I can go to QuikTrip and get a Big Gulp!

What I learned in ClickBank within that week, does not approach to what I learned in my first week of Wealthy Affiliate. ClickBank covered the techinal, but not traffic. They did not focus on traffic like Wealthy Affiliate does. Wealthy Affiliate appears to want you know understand where your traffic comes from and how to get it.

ClickBank Builder Sucks

I also signed up for ClickBank Builder. It is a package which allows you to build Landing Pages and Vendor Pages. It was very basic and would not even allow graphics on Landing Pages. When I asked about the lack of graphics, they said it would be in a future update. By the way, the support email link would not answer this. I had to ask in a live webinar to get an answer.

After a couple of weeks, I asked for a refund of the $297 I had paid so far for ClickBank Builder. They never refunded the money and last night, billed me for my 2nd payment of $297. I am very disappointed.

I have decided to go with an Aweber and LeadPages combo.

ClickBank Marketplace Is Good

THe ClickBank Marketplace is good. I believe they decided to try to implement a community much like Wealthy Affiliate, and it is so early in its implementation that it fails. Adam Horwitz and Justin Atlan have great personalities and are very intelligent. They are both worthy of my admiration, but with ClickBank Builder they are putting out an inferior product.

Wealthy Affilate Forces Particpation

Wealthy Affiliare forces Participation in its community. Initially, I was annoyed with this, but I soon realized it was just as much part of the training as building your own web site. This participation also forced traffic to your web site. This forced participation is very wise for both the Wealthy Affiliate owners and its members.

Extraordinary Experience

Overall, my experience here has been extraordinary. I am looking forward to its continuation. I have completed Course 1 and am not in Lesson 9 out of 10 in Course 2. I can wait for the next lesson. Good job, Wealthy Affiliate!
