Creating Content Silos and Structured Pages with the help of ChatGPT
Something I've been working on today. I recently updated an old review post and it got me thinking about a post/page for a cluster.
I wasn't really sure about how his would work - the keyword I wanted to leverage was L. Plantarum. I thought initially to just write a supporting blog post but I asked ChatGPT if I should instead create this as a child page for my review but it suggested to create this with 2 parent pages - probiotic strains and supplement guides.
Bit of a rabbit hole but it actually created the content for all 3 pages and helped me set this up. I wasn't thinking of doing this but it makes sense for my wider strategy.
Really just the supplement guides page will be the one I will be adding to but even I'm guessing the probiotic strains page too maybe be worth adding to as I review more probiotic supplements.
Creating Other Silos and Content Hubs
I've actually been working on this for a while now. So I'm doing best of pages with the main parent pages Supplement Reviews and Best and Worst Supplements.
Supplement Guides which I just created is also under the top page.
It's quite complicated but I think this makes sense - especially with product reviews which according to ChatGPT can find themselves in direct competition with each other for SEO.
Why Product Reviews Might Work Better As Pages Rather Than Posts

I don't understand this fully but rather than having a product review as something you aim to rank as standalone content you can instead use them to power up their parent page. In my case my Best of... pages.
To change posts to pages look for a plugin called post type switcher and in your WordPress back office select quick edit instead of edit and change from post to page here.
Also, whilst here this is where you can select parent page.
In Conclusion
This is essentially how you create content Silos. If you are stuck definitely try asking ChatGPT.
I first learned about this through the affiliate lab training a couple years back. It has took me a while to understand it really but now I'm basically treating my reviews and best of posts as my money pages which I'm using this structure for and using posts basically just to get people on to my website.
Long way to go still but thought I'd share this. Been wanting to blog here more and love some of the posts by other members sharing ideas 💡 so here is something from me.
I hope you find this helpful.

Cluster topics are always a great idea my friend.... and get them right then one can have topics to write about for months!!!
Yes they are a bit of a rabbit hole. I got so much organising to do with my site kind of just setting myself up for later on really.
Set yourself up well now... things will become easier in the long run...
😁😁👍
Yes just got to get the work done
