Hello friends, welcome to my wealthy affiliate profile page. My name is Prosper and I am an Environmental studies major at carleton university. My journey in college thus far has been pretty decent. But after about 3 years in college, my experience has showed me that I may be going towards a path which ends with me getting a 9 - 5 job after college. Which dont get me wrong is okay as long as its a decent job.
But I want more from life and I know that life has more to offer. I want to be able to travel the world at some point in my life. Which is what led me to start working on an alternative source of income. And thats how I came across the WA community online. My WA journey started with a bit of a bump. And that was because I was struggling with procrastination and fear of failure. But after struggling to overcome these barriers I have been able to fix that bump and things are beginning to move smoothly.
I have been in the WA community for about 7 months and even if I havent achieved as much as I would have liked, I believe I have learnt alot and have set myself on the path of achieving something good for my future. For now I am in the photography niche and I hope I can be of some help to people through my website. In the upcoming 3 - 6 months, I hope to have already earned some form of commision through my business.

Write some weekly goals, monthly goals and yearly goals not relating to money but to progress, you want to make and tick them off as you achieve them. This will keep you motivated.
Also look at your reason WHY you are doing this as having a big WHY also pushes you along the success path

Hey Prosper. 1st off - love the image of the Camaro. My wife and I have a 2011 RS.
I think you are right about the career path that most college degrees lead to- a 9-5 job. I've done that now for over 30 years and having someone judge you daily gets old after a while. That's right, in college you have weekly or monthly or quarterly exams. In the working world you are tested daily, hourly even, by people who may not even know as much as your or at least not specifically about what you do.
Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong at all with a college degree or a 9-5 job as you noted. I just think it's better to be your own boss and answer only to yourself.
I say stick with college until you graduate but keep working your WA business and hopefully you will avoid the 30 year 9-5 job route that I took.
