National Ice Cream day - Sunday 16th July!

In case you were not aware of Sunday 16th July is National Ice Cream Day!
Every year, usually on the 3rd Sunday of every July, Ice cream lovers the across the world take a moment to 'Raise a Cone' and celebrate this joyous day!
We have former U.S President Ronald Reagan to thank for this delicious treat of a day, in fact a whole month. The 31-day nod to the popular treat came by way of a joint resolution in Congress. President Reagan signed the holiday into law by proclamation in 1984.
The proclamation (No. 5219) declared ice cream "a nutritious and wholesome food, enjoyed by over 90 percent of the people of the United States. It enjoys a reputation as the perfect dessert and snack food."
I hope you all take a moment on Sunday to enjoy a Sundae!
