SEO Done the Google Way!

This is really for anyone but is especially useful for the newer Wealthy Affiliate members. You need to know as much about SEO as possible to make sure your site and your content are searchable by all search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing, and all the others.

Subjects Covered in this Awesome Document

Following are the subjects that are covered by this really important document:

  • Getting started
  • Help Google find your content
  • Tell Google which pages shouldn't be crawled
  • Help Google (and users) understand your content
  • Manage your appearance in Google Search results
  • Organize your site hierarchy
  • Optimize your content
  • Optimize your images
  • Make your site mobile-friendly
  • Promote your website
  • Analyze your search performance and user behavior
  • Appendix: Link URLs used in this paper

You need to read and study all of this to really understand what Google is looking for when it comes to their rules on SEO. I have written several articles here on this subject, but when Google tells you what they are looking for, you need to pay attention.

Also notice on the page for this link, their is a bunch more great information that Google has created over on the right side of the page. You should check those out as well or at least bookmark them so you can read them later.

I hope this helps everyone understand SEO from Google's view and if you have any SEO questions, feel free to as in the comments section here and I will answer them all.

Thanks for this info. I have bookmarked this page for future reference.

I compared what Google recommends and found they correlate exactly to what Jay has taught on his webinars. Good to know.

We must make it a habit to follow these practices every time we write and publish content. This is what levels the playing field.

Cheers.

Yes, Jay does a good job of trying to keep us up to date but it never hurt to go directly to the source, Google.
