3 Weeks In
Well, entering my 4th week I've created my website with what I hope is quality content.It is still work in progress though. I've learned the importance of keywords in the google rankings and of course the importance of quality content.
My website is the first of several. It is for people who really have no clue of how or what to cook. howicookeasy.com. I am saving the niche that I really like after I can create everything for the website without having my hand held.
I am proud of the fact that I actually built a web site. I never thought I would be doing something like that.
My goal for next 3 months is to complete the first site with affiliate marketing and have my second site completed in the same manner.
6 month goal is to actually have an income coming in. Not necessarily one that I could live off, but enough that I can be proud of.

Well done for getting your site up and running. You have made a good start. One thing you might want to bear in mind I see that you have put recipes into pages in a drop down menu. This means that at one point you will have a drop down menu that is very long. Personally I think it is better to use posts and categories - much easier to manage Just a thought. :) Beverley
Ya That is what I want to actually do but I haven't figure out how yet.
Kyle and some others suggested I keep getting content on the way I am, then rearrange later when I've got better feel on everything.
