How my business is enhanced with an affiliate marketing strategy!

I have run my own business for several years now. All of my clients are local and find me through seminars I conduct about a particular topic. Once they find me, I have products or services to offer them that cover three distinct areas or niches. It’s a good business model and I make good money, but I recognize that I need to be online in order to grow and survive long term.

To “be online,” I created a website and a blog. I have some social media presence across a couple of platforms. It feels like I’m doing the right things, but I’m not converting clients. In hopes of finding what I’m doing wrong I stumbled across a blog that gave me some tips and ideas, which I’ve implemented. In digging further into the content on the blog, I read about some website called Wealthy Affiliate that helps people create web businesses. It’s has a free subscription, so I join.

When I joined, I was looking for ideas to grow my blog. I didn’t know anything about affiliate products. Haven’t used them, didn’t know what they were. As I’ve gone through some of the training, a HUGE light bulb has gone off for me.

There are a lot of ways that I can offer good advice through content to my current audience, along with an appropriate affiliate offer. This will enhance my existing relationships and grow revenue for my business. The kicker is that I have also learned how I can use this same content to drive web traffic back to my original business niche and enhance that business as well.

This has been exactly what I needed even though I didn’t know I needed it. If you have a business, a blog, or simply something you’re passionate about, you have to know how this works. It’s a must.
