I would like to ask everyone a question? Is anyone using Empire Avenue to build your following on Social Media?

If you are not familiar with Empire Avenue, then I'll take a minute and explain the basics.

  • Empire Avenue is designed as a Stock Market Game. (With fake money called eaves) And YOU are the stock. I am the stock. Each player is the stock.
    • Your market value and dividend are determined by your social media engagement. The more you use social media, the more you're worth. So, if you're are using social media, other people will "buy" you in hopes of gaining value and additional social media engagement.
    • You can also create or complete "missions", where you "pay" others to do things on your networks. Like add you to G+ circles, like a Facebook page, re-tweet, etc.
  • You create a profile and link it with all of your social media sites: Facebook, twitter, Google+, foursquare, LinkedIn, etc.
  • You buy other people. Other people buy you. You engage and network and build your social media empire.

I've been using it for some time now. I'd like your thoughts. Are you using it and why/why not?

Oh and if you're no there, look me up (e)CHARLIED

So, I haven't been on WA for... well, 6 months. I see some of you asked questions of me and I'm sorry I never responded.

Here's where Empire Avenue has helped me:

I can get followers on all of my social networks there pretty easily. I just ask for followers and I'll get some. it worked best on Twitter, but has worked on FB pages & LinkedIn.

When I have content I want shared, I've had great success getting tweets favorited & RT'd. Not much success in getting blog comments or shares on other networks.

Outside of that, I've not had much success. I've developed a few professional relationships that have helped me grow, but no direct results in terms of sales.

I haven't tried it, only heard of it. Personally, there is so much social media and communities out there to take up my time, I am becoming more selective in what I sign up for.
As far as I know (correct me if I am wrong). Google, FB, Pinterest and Linkedin are the biggest ones. Not sure about Twitter, although I am a member

Just a quick question Charlie. I want to hook my blogs into Empire Avenue through Wrodpress. Unfotunately we are not allowed to install Jetpack here at WA. Do you know how I can authorize EZ to access my website without installing JEtpack?

I ust joined up today. not going to spend too much time but I have joined up my other social media profiles and am attracting some interest from others on the platforrm. I'll report back in a month or two. I don't want to spend too much extra time on it as I still need to write a lot of content but it does look intriguing.

Am interested Charlie .... this post was made over 2 months ago. Since then, have you had any success in building your business with Empire Avenue? It sounds extremely time consuming when you take into account everything that is to be learned and then act on here at WA. But still - I'm very interested in your results. God Bless! ~Cathy

Heard of it while looking at Tumblr posts then did a search in WA to see if anyone had any info. Yours was the only one that showed up. Do you need to spend extra time in Emprie Avenue or does it just amalgamate the rest of your social activity?

Hi Charlie. Think I'll try this out to see how it goes. Just starting the social networking part of my training, although I've had an active Facebook (and fairly inactive Twitter account) for years

Hi Charlie,

Sounds great though for myself, at this stage, it would take up too much more of my time.
I know that may sound counter productive as the idea is to grow my business via this medium of social networking.
It is something i'll keep in my notes and i'm sure that I will put the time into this after I have created a substantial website that is taking a bit less time to develop/maintain.

Thank you heaps for posting.

Blessings Be,
