5 months with WA-Progress Report
So it's been 5 months with WA now and I was reading a blog post that a fellow member wrote about people wondering if they would make money with Wealthy Affiliate. To be honest with you I don't have 1 referral to WA (Yet!), the reason why I don't is because I have not focused on that yet. I started with zero knowledge about internet marketing and I joined to learn, after all this is a University, it is not a place for get rich quick schemes. I chose the path of Affiliate Bootcamp with my niche being Internet Marketing, which I have narrowed down to what I really enjoy doing and that is Affiliate Marketing. If you would have asked me 5 months ago what Affiliate Marketing was I would have had no clue. Today I am making money with Affiliate Marketing and everything that I know about it I learned in Wealthy Affiliate and from all of it's great members. I have a nice website and I now know how to drive traffic to my Affiliate Offers. One of the best things that I learned here was list building and email marketing, this is where I started making money, now I am totally focused on it. About making money with WA, I am making money because of WA and now that I know how to drive traffic to WA I am setting up a campaign that will launch in the first week of July, it takes 300 referrals to get to Vegas and I'll be there, and yes I will be making money with WA! So if you are not making money yet, keep learning and going through the courses, ask questions with other members, stick to your niche, all you have to do is get traffic to it and you will learn how to do that here. Also Kyle say's to do reviews, so I started finding products related to my niche "Affiliate Marketing" and I purchased some of them and did reviews, some were scams and others were decent products that I learned from and continue to use now that help me make money. Stick to the training here and you will make money that is lasting, not money that comes and goes from get rich quick schemes. I will be a member here for a long time to come, there is still a lot to learn. I wish all of you the best success!

You've got a positive attitude! I'm at about 5 months too, and am getting negligible traffic. Haven't figured out yet if I'm doing something wrong or just not enough right. Cheers.
Fantastic. I am now focusing on WA having had to deal with important areas of my personal life for the past few months. But I take heart from your post and the message it sends out. I am inspired by WA anyway, and your testimony just confirms again and again why I signed up. Thanks for this.

You are right about needing to stay focused! And sometimes life get in the way and your focus has to be elsewhere! Which is ok!
