who's on strike ?
There is always a strike somewhere in Martinique (in France as well). Today, the gasoline manufacture is on strike, as well as the car pound. Not long ago, the doctors were on strike, ho yes and corsair (a flight company is on strike).

In Holland it is just waiting whén all people are going on the baricades and on strike, they are really squizing the last cents outof the pockets of the working, disabled, older and and ill people and leaving the rich unharmed. There are a whole lot of people really in finacial troubles because of the government is picking pockets as a cornered cat.
Well, this kind of strike I understand, but here when the gasoline manufacture does it ,it's not for the same reason. Last year they were on strike nearly every months, and then when it lasts too long, people can't go working and lose 2 or 3 days pay (it happened to me).
Sometimes they just spread a strike rumor (usually at the end of the month) so people hurry to the gas stations, wait for hours to be served. It's just crazy.
Sometimes it's frustrating, but that's part of the life on the island. It's not sad though, but very irritating.
