Barely Rolling
I've now been a member here on WA for almost a month and I have been working hard to meet my goals. I'd love to be able to say that I've had my first sale or something like that, but not all success is necessarily measured in $$. Of course, I will expect to see some profits in the future, but getting a good foundation set up is very important and I can happily say that I am well on my way to having that good foundation set up.
That being said, it hasn't been easy so far. Simply finding the time to work on my website and network in the community has been a daunting task but it has all been worth it. Aside from that, I have had several "failures". I've been denied several affiliate deals, been asked by companies to remove copyrighted photos (oops! I hadn't been through that lesson yet!), and had to find complex workarounds to get the content and images that I want for my site. While discouraging at first, I found new motivation to power ahead every time I overcame one of these speed bumps.
I still don't think that I'll make a profit for a few months, especially since I'll start law school in a few weeks and I won't have even as much time as I've had recently, but I will keep on working at it because I love my niche and writing about it.
I have to admit, I was a little leery when I first joined the site. I started out as a free member and waited until the last day of the first week promo to upgrade to premium and I don't regret a thing. The training and support on this site is phenomenal and I don't think that there is a better deal out there!
So, if you have born with me through this rambling post, I'll leave with you with a few pieces of advice: 1. be prepared for failure and be ready to fight through it. If it was easy, everyone would do it (and be successful at it) and 2. believe in yourself and what you are doing, there is, without a doubt, someone out there that will benefit from your efforts and be grateful you did it.
