Citing Your Sources
Hello Everyone,
I have been doing a lot of comments and feedback on peoples websites, as all of us have.. Everyone has great ideas and it is obvious that a lot of research is being done.
As a journalist I learned that whenever I use a link or information from another cite, it should always be acknowledge where you get that information from. It can be a violation of copyright material.
APA style or MLA are two ways to do so. Here is a link to a website that can help you do that. If anyone needs help I can do that do
At the end of each article, wherever you have links, each site should be cited at the bottom of your article.
Media law was big for journalism. Thanks for listening.

Thank you for the insight. I never even thought about citing on my website. I don't know how I overlooked this vital step.
Fortunately I haven't had to cite anything yet. But I will definitely be doing it if required. Thanks for your insight. Jim
Thanks for the information. I think people are reluctant to put credits at the end of their writing, thinking it will make them look like they just copied it and didn't do the research themselves. But really, who reads acknowledgements at the end. Nobody.
