Learning By Example
I entered our Wealthy Affiliate (WA) Community almost eight (8) years ago - lost, broken, disenchanted, hurt and needing. I needed . . . everything! Healing, direction, comfort, empathy, recognition, support, guidance - everything! What made this even more difficult for me to acknowledge and understand was the fact that I was seen as successful and 'making it".
Truth be told, inside, I was not but I could not put my finger on exactly what it was that had me stuck.
As an avid reader and researcher, I was trying to figure things out on my own. Google was my companion and trusted advisor.
Over time, I exposed my vulnerability in our WA Community. I shared my thoughts, asked tonnes of questions, connected with others, offered comments, read as much as I could, attended live sessions, did training, created trainings myself and, of course, blogged a lot. In short, I became an active participant in our WA Community.
Being an introvert (20 on a scale of 1 to 10), that was not easy for me to do. What made it easy and inviting though were the members who gave so much of themselves by sharing their knowledge, experiences, lessons, successes and failings.
I realised that because of the trust and openness here, I had started to adapt my behaviour.

I was becoming more intentional.
Intention Moves Us To Congruence
This was perhaps one of my deepest lessons from our WA Community.
Nothing happens by chance.
You have to be intentional - act the part, do the work, ask the questions, make the decisions, change your behaviours. This is the only way that you will get closer to achieving the successes you say you want to achieve.
It was literally an "ah ha" moment for me - realising that I had to become a little selfish with my time, energy and efforts and direct them intentionally towards what I wanted to achieve.
That was the Congruent Point for me, when it all came together and made sense.
That was the moment I changed my game and opportunities and success started to embrace me.
Take Some Time Out
Spend some time with yourself doing some focused, grounding work. Make sure that you are not biting off more than you can chew. If you are spread too thinly, let some things go, Narrow your focus and direct more of your attention with unstoppable intention.
You just might see yourself leaping forward.
