I still have two parts left to finish the training. Doing some research, I typed in the name of my website BY MISTAKE, and came to find it is on page 1 in a Google search! Yi

What is the difference between an E-Commerce store and affiliate marketing? Assuming you still need a website, what are you doing differently?
Hi CassBen,
The basic difference between an E-Commerce store and affiliate marketing is that an E-Commerce store is usually promoting your own products that you want to sell online and you need to be able to collect customer information such as credit card or other payment options.
Affiliate marketing is promoting products sold by another company or person by writing about it in reviews and basically telling people what it does, what's good or even bad about it.
Affiliates make a commission off of any sales made through their affiliate links (given to them to use on their website after signing up as an affiliate) and are then paid a percentage based on the sale- usually anywhere from 4%-10% or even more depending on the affiliate program that company offers. Some even offer 25% or more.
Hope that helps explain it some. At least that's my understanding of it...
Best wishes :) ~Sherry
Thanks, Sherry! I appreciate the answer, and that helps me know what not to focus on...at least for now anyway!

I'm at the part of training where I create my website. Looking at all the templates, and not knowing much about what my website needs and where I'll be going from here, how on
After almost 9 months, I am still debating on which theme/template I should use for my site. lol
But an important detail is to choose a theme with a white background and dark gray text. Something that is easy to read and easy on the eyes.
Pick the template that attracts you the most and use it.....don't spend too much time thinking about the template because all of them are amazing!!!
How do you know what kind of template to choose?

I think you basically "googled" your website, and that's why it came up on page 1. Others would have to google the name of your website to get the same results.
Phew, that's a relief! Thank you so much
You're welcome.
