So I have not fallen off the face of the Earth, if anyone was wondering.I have not been on the Wa platform much lately and have missed a lot. That does not mean that I have not been busy working and building. I am a bit behind with building my content but that will soon be remedied. Because of my life situation, I have had to prioritize and put all my efforts into my small but steadily growing brick and mortar business. This will eventually all fit in with my WA websites, but right now there ar

We all have sides to our personalities that can either help or hinder us in our success. Not just in business but in all areas of our lives that carry over into our work. We can can focus on those negative areas and let them take over and define who we are, or we can grab hold of the positive attributes and run with them. As human beings, we are all creatures of habit and habits are much harder to break than to form. If we have been allowing that negative side to rule our hearts and minds for m

It's a glorious morning here in sunny New Zealand and I would rather be at the beach today but have lots of work to do. My last post was about connecting with people through our content, keeping it real and remembering our audience are real people.I wanted to take this a little further and discuss PROFESSIONALISM, as I feel this is one of the important keys to our success. The Merriam-Webster definition of professionalism states: "the conduct, aims or qualities that characterize or mark a profes

Good morning WA friends! I have been MIA for the last week or so. However I have been busy working on other aspects of my business, laying the groundwork and building the foundations for the future. Turning ideas into plans and plans into action. This is all possible now because of my involvement with WA and the tools I now have access to, to be able take my once hopes and dreams and turn them into actionable plans towards reaching my future goals. This looks different to everyone as we all hav

In my offline world I have had the privilege of being a team mentor and being able to mentor individual students on their journey towards achieving their goals in the teaching industry. As a mentor it was not my job or my desire to do the students work for them or give them all the answers. It was about support, encouragement and guidance. Regular discussions and updates on progress were a vital element for providing them with self-direction and motivation. Pointing them in the right direction

Hi everyone. I have been considering the content of some of the blogs that I have read recently, and how we may appear to newcomers or visitors to the platform. Expectations can be high when others first come to take a look around and they may not understand the time, hard work and patience involved in the online industry. What we represent is far from a get rich quick philoshophy as we all know and understand. Even when we have been here a while and are working towards our goals it can seem dif

Everyone has a story and every story is different. Our experiences in life make us who we are, or who we choose to be. We all come from different backgrounds and we all came here for different reasons. The one thing we all have in common is that we are here to make a difference in our lives, for whatever reason. For some it is freedom, some for money, some for the learning experience to name just a few. We all came for hope!Hope that whatever motivated us to make the decision, will happen for us
