WA Day 18: Mastering The Art of Adding Images

You know, as simple as this lesson was I actually learned something REALLY important. It's funny. I'm an extremely technically savvy guy, but sometimes I get baffled by really simple things... actually, it's not so much that I'm baffled as it is I just kind of shrug and do it in a way that works, never bothering to refine it a little bit. One of these things has been properly setting an image.

The whole time I've been blogging I practically always just center align an image between two blocks of text. I've been doing this for well over 10 years! lol I knew how to do it, in theory, but every time I did it things would get slightly wonky and I'd just say "Whatever, this center thing is just fine."

My comment today was going to be something along the lines of "This lesson was really easy, I decided to go to the next without changing anything because I already have pictures in my one post."

BUT, I have two other pages without pictures and it said to add pictures to ALL of the pages. I'm being a good little WA soldier so I don't want to cut any corners along the way. I learned this new technique when I went to add a picture to my About Me page. It's so simple I feel... a little dumb for not taking the time to figure it out.

All you do is place the cursor where you want the left/right justified image to be and... insert it. Boom. I've always been adding the pictures as I type and then weird things happen when I try to align it. Anyhow, here is the result!

I'm still working on the content for the About Me page. I have some more videos and picture to add. I'm going to add a picture to the other page just so I can put a check in that box!

I was going to write something about making a review template for Site Feedback but instead I give you a picture of some overly fed animals. I got a little crazy with the squirrel and bird food. I mean, it is Christmas. :) I didn't get the picture, but I caught seven squirrels out there at the same time once!
