Searching for a niche - an out of the box solution
As you all know, as members of WA, a niche is a problem you help to solve with the information you provide on your website.
Sometimes it's hard to think of a niche if you don't want to take one that has been used by thousands of people already.
Just recently, I read about the concept of "creating a niche or a problem" that doesn't exist yet and create your business around that. This basically means you solve a problem that people don't know they have but would be lucky to have it resolved.
But how would this look like? Here is an example:
There is this farmer who had the idea to rent out small mobile hen houses with two hens to families with kids for about two weeks. The families need to have a garden, of course. The families got instructions on how to keep the hens. They could keep the eggs, and the kids were happy to have great first-time hands-on experiences with hens.
After two weeks, the farmer comes to pick up the hen house.
For me, this example is a perfect creation of a new niche nobody thinks of.
It's a great win-win situation for both the families and the farmer. The farmer gets a new income source, and the kids had some hands-on experience with "real farming".
This concept turned out to work really well - my conclusion is:
THINK OUT OF THE BOX and BECOME CREATIVE!
There are lots of problems to be solved that do not even exist:-)
