Trying to find worhty affiliate programs

I have spent the last week or so trying to find affiliate programs that I believe in, that I would be excited aoubt referring people to for their products or services. I found one It's called "Equestrian Coach." Though not specifically targeted to a dressage audience, the profesisonals on this site are great horsemen and women who have incorporated classical riding principles into their work. One of them is Bernie Traurig. He's got a couple of terrific videos that are to the point, addressing some common problems when riding horses. He is classically trained in dressage and jumping. He is a world-class jumper rider by profession.

There was another affiliate program I like that promoted riding clothing and equipment. However, they have canceled their program because somehow bots got in there and succeeded in spreading their products all over the internet without program author's permission -- -- something like that.

I'm trying to get into the Dover Saddlery Affiliate Program but have to be approved, and to do that, I have to install Javascript which includes some fancy code called Viglink that's got to be placed at various places on my website that I have yet to find. It sounds extremely complicated and, frankly, discouraging. I have asked experts here at WA how I might do what they're telling me, and I have also asked the Viglink people for help. This may be more trouble than it's worth.

I also applied to horse. com but haven't heard back from them as yet. My problem is that there aren't that many affiliate programs dealing with dressage. In fact, there are none. So I have to go a bit broader and look for programs in the horse world that are related.

I might just throw in the towel and join Amazon.

I want to add that along the way, I have found some wonderful programs that have nothing to do with affiliate marketing. One of them is the Classical Riding Club developed by British horsewoman Slyvia Lock. Members are promoting the principles I'm writing about on my website. It's fabulous. Also found Jane Savoie's Dressage Mentor website. Jane is a classially trained Olympic coach who in her Mentor program provides dressage exercises at various levels of expertise. Videos go with the tutorials.

Though trying to find affiliate programs in my niche is frustrating there have been some great rewards along the way.

I think we all experience moments of frustration trying to join the best programs Carole and it seems you have found some great connections along the way- well done
Connect with great people and maybe do a guest post for them as this will reflect back to your site giving you more and more credibility
Just a thought
Go well
Vicki

Thanks, Vicki
