I have a product that I innovated, I can't divulge it at the moment but it falls under the category that a wallet, money belt would.. but this item is so classy, and unique I us
i don't pretend to know what your best route would be. However, it seems to me that WA and your product would go together well. You might want to patent your product before before marketing it on the web.

however, whether or not you choose to use this product as your niche for the purpose of WA training, what you learn here by using this or some other niche, you can apply to your product

What you learn here can only improve your knowledge and increase sales and more. You could learn how to even create and affiliate link and get even more sales for it. I really don't know though, it is your route. Patenting protecting it is a good idea.
