Hey everyone!

Recently my Dell Laptop has stopped working (it's very old). I plan on continuing these trainings and wanted some insight as to what everyone uses.

I use a Dell laptop with 2 extra monitors (screens). It's now over 3 years old and still serving me well but I'll soon be installing a bigger SSD for the operating system.

Laptops can have just as good specifications as desktops but they have the added advantage that they keep on running when there's a power outage.

If I could afford just one it’s be a laptop fir portability plus maybe a large screen for the office. I also use iPhone.

If I could afford it I’d go for a desktop plus iPad for portability.

The other factor to consider is if you only ever write when online or not. If you sometimes write when there’s no internet easy file transfer might be important to you. I often write when offline so use software on iPhone and pc that automatically updates when I go online.

Hi

A laptop is more convenient, however that's totally your choice. For us we use all, i.e. Windows, Linux, Macbooks, Androids, iPhones etc. but have preference more for Apple products.

Some folks work totally on their mobile devices, however at some stage you'd need have access to a desktop/laptop to build your site.

I have known some people to use their phones, then use things like library computers if/when there is something they can`t do with the cell phones. For me personally, I use my laptop as I find a phone screen too squeezed.
Let`s see what others use.

Can't go wrong with a laptop... you can take it wherever and continue your trainings wherever. Just saying.
