Three Years On, A Motivating Ray Of Sunshine!
After an enormously 'challenging' two years, where I lost the time and to be honest the drive to pursue my own agenda, I woke up this morning and found this in my email tray... an 'Award' for 3 years at WA.
I have reflected regularly on how I miss the enthusiasm and drive that working my own small WA corner of the internet gave me, with the encouragement of such supportive colleagues. But with a series of serious issues that loved ones have needed my support with and other personal challenges of my own to sort out, time moved relentlessly on and I lost my WA thread.
I have been so preoccupied with these issues that I increasingly did little to get back to my own agenda. Finding the 'Award' for 3 years at WA has jolted me to a realisation of how quickly time goes by.
I have determined I will find the time to gradually ease myself back into my place in this amazing learning environment.
As I have told others... that first step is the most important!
I will start with a clue (in the image) about what I have been spending any spare time on over the past couple of years. It is very different to the topic I was pursuing previously, but I have managed to make it a viable option!
So, a big 'Hello' to anyone who remembers me and I hope that we will be able to reconnect.
Have a great week and keep smiling!

Hi Sue, I guess I'm in a similar situation like you.
I'm approaching my 2nd anniversary soon, and to be honest, I'm nowhere near where I'd like to be in terms of achieving my online business goals. I'm still struggling with family chores, taking care of little kids, and a stressful full-time job.
On the flip side, the longer I stay in WA, the more valuable things I learn in internet marketing. I have to admit that I'm the ONLY reason why I'm not successful yet, not other things that are on my way.
Deal with the obstacles and get back on track, that's what I'm trying to do now. Hope everything goes well on your side and wish you best in your business.
Hugh
Hi Deb, thanks for your kind comments and good wishes. Have a fun and productive week, Sue :)
Iโm another member who reached the 3 year mark last November. I hear you about the personal issues and how that can really derail you! Iโve had a serious health issue with a child on my plate plus trying to sell my home. Glad to hear youโre back and sending you a big smile!

Hi Erica,
Congratulations on your 3rd year at WA, you certainly sound resilient to be coming through all that and still being so positive :)
Thanks for your supportive words, I wish you much success and happiness for the year ahead.
I am looking forward to keeping in touch with people much more frequently now :)
You keep smiling too!

Three years here for myself also on the the sixteenth past.
Nice to hear from you again...Calm Koala.
I trust that all is well?
There is another Teddy Bear person here on the platform. Do you know Scott?
Awesome just like you.
Hiya Paul,
Great to hear from you, congrats on your 3rd anniversary and best wishes for a successful and enjoyable year ahead!
Yes, I do remember Teddy Bear (aka Chris Scott!), he was certainly awesome and always a very supportive and knowledgeable colleague :)
I look forward to reconnecting with any friends/colleagues from my 'earlier days' and meeting many new ones!
Have a great week,

Good afternoon Sue,
Nice to see you back.
I will make 2 guesses on what you spend your time on these past years.
You helped save Teddy Bears from extinction.
You have been very busy with children.
If I am wrong, sorry.
Greetings from the south of Spain, Taetske
Hi Taetske,
Ha ha... yes you are right, I have been doing 'my bit' for the Teddy Bears. It was an unexpected niche I tripped over while pursuing the 'children' niche. Now it is taking up anytime I have spare :)
But it has meant that during a quite challenging time, I have been able to 'hug a bear' when I needed to!
Always a rainbow somewhere :)
Take care and it's so lovely to hear from you,
Sue ๐
Good afternoon Sue,
Good to hear you had a Teddy in time of need. Rainbows, silver lining, all that counts in life.
All the best, Taetske
