Any tips for writer's block? And how does writing posts work into your schedule?
I've been kind of hitting a writing block lately. Does anyone have any tips for that?
And out of curiousity, does anyone set themselves goals for writing posts? Like writing one post every friday or every other monday?? You know, something to keep you on track..

Imagine you are a member of your audience wondering through a store in whatever niche you are in. Think of what intrigues you, what questions you're asking, what items you like or don't like. Eventually, your brain will pull up something. No matter how simple it might be, go with it or at least follow that pathway through the 'store'.
Hope this helps and makes sense :)

Thanks for the follow Calista. Nice name for sure! I actually have similar issues until I get into it, so what I have done is downloaded a speech to text software. Being a public speaker many times and sales trainer I find speaking comes easier for me. So I speak my thoughts on a subject for a post then go back to edit.
Content is difficult also, so I am doing this also. I can critique better than typing it out right away. Hope that helps give you an idea for writer's block.
When I hit writer's block, it usually means I need to take a break. I usually spend time with my family. Take a warm bath. Do something nice for someone else. Do something to lift my spirits.
Then, I usually get back to researching my niche and writing ideas and then it's back to work.

Two teaching I use are,
How To Get Over Writer's Block - Finding Ideas! How To Get Over Writer's Block - Finding Ideas! (Part 1) How To Get Over Writer's Block - Developing Content! How To Get Over Writer's Block - Developing Content! (Part 2)
Set yourself realistic goals and keep to your schedule. Myself, when I have writers block, I meditate for 30 minutes and then I go to Jaaxy and do more keyword research.

Ya I think I need to set myself some goals. I find I tend to procrastinate sometimes when it comes to writing.
That sounds like a good idea too. Do something relaxing for a while and completely take your mind off, and then come back to it from a different angle.
Awesome, thank you for the help Jerry
Hello,
I believe that everyone has a "writer's block" and also (everyone) treat this in a different way.
I will share what i do with you when i have this problem.
First of all i want everything to be organized (at least when i write posts because everything else is a mess in my computer)
Some things that they help me and i hope that they help you too are:
Try to find a different keyword that you will have ideas and leave that keyword that you want to write for the next posts (or at least you "unblock")
Usually this process is what made me feel better and write for something without wasting a day trying to figure out how i will write something for this keyword.
If you have a "general" block and can't write anything you might need to relax...drink something go out and walk...exercise...or whatever you like to do...
Sometimes our brains stuck when we try to "push" them to much to do something... Even if you worked very hard the last few days you might need a day off to enjoy your day!
That's what works for me...in short it's like a day of or try to write for something else.
Thank you!
Oh, trying to find a new keyword sounds like a good idea. I haven't really tried that. I usually just try to stick with what I got until it's done. Thank you for that advice!
open up a blank page on wordpress...start typing do not think of anything just start typing away, if you do this you will notice that ideas will start to appear on your page...lol...That is how I do it to get out of the writers block...I did that yesterday and I manage to write a 1000 word article in about an hour...it might not work for you but would not hurt to try it...wishing you well
Thank you, I'll give this a try. I remember when the "write for 30 minutes" came up in the training. At first I was like, this isn't going to work for me, but then I ended up almost writing an entire post. So ya maybe it is time to try that method again. Thanks again
Hello ahh yes the writers block what I like to do is I'll take a break or research more of my niche and will come up with Ideas. You could do site feedback and sometimes something will come to mind. But the one thing don't get frustrated it'll come to you. Hope this helps. David
Thank you David! I needed to hear that don't get frustrated part, cause I do get that way sometimes. And researching more is a great idea, I think I'll try that. Thanks again.

I just read through some excellent comments from other folks, very helpful. Thanks!!
Writers block for me is like a mental fog so I save what I have and come back to it later. Usually walk away and take a coffee break, come back later on and read some headline news or something interesting.
Then when that light bulb lights I drop what I'm doing and write quality content.
I'm just on limited part time doing this but that's what works for me.
Talk later, Gene
