What's The Missing Piece?
My horoscope today really got me to thinking. Here is what it said: "You're taking the next step, but you may not be getting what you think you should from your efforts. What's the missing piece?"
I've been here at Wealthy Affiliate since July 2016, and I have almost completed all of the training courses. I work faithfully every day on my 2 of my websites, adding new posts to each at least 3 times every week. I am putting in about 20+ hours a week on building my business. My social media followers have really grown on Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest (Facebook not so much). But I have yet to make a single sale on any of my websites.
I got a message from Amazon last month that I have 180 days to make a sale or be dropped from their affiliate program. If I'm dropped, I'll have to go back and remove all of the links from my past posts. What a pain!
I would really like your honest opinion on what I'm doing wrong, what am I missing? My goal was to start making money by my birthday, which is coming up in April. I would appreciate some honest feedback so I can move forward and start seeing some real results. Thank you!

Me too. I have been with WA longer than that I think and no sales. I got the same message from Amazon and I have until next month. It was pretty discouraging when I got it. I guess, hand in there, although I do understand how you feel.
This is somewhat discouraging to read for folks like me who just started this process :( I certainly never expected to get rich overnight but 6 months without a single sale isn't very encoursging. I hope you figure out the "secret sauce" for your website :)
Carol, I do not think you are doing anything wrong. Amazon are tough to beat with their requirements. I think success does not come as quickly as we would like it to. ( you are way ahead of me with what you have done). Just keep going and I am sure you will be a success.

I COULD say things like: be Patient (but that is ALL you have been..)
I would reconcentrate on all of the promotional activities you have entered into and do them all over and again, and again.
Submitting your site to either Google Adsense or Bing's alternative, as well as Yahoo's would probably be a good thing.
How does the traffic numbers look for your site? Are getting a lot of people stopping by, just No sales? If that is the case, it may be your content. Can you offer something for free to 'sweeten the deal? Just a few questions you can bat around.

I am getting about 3000 visitors a week, but no one stays very long. I'm thinking of adding some free stuff. Thanks for the suggestion.
Is the material you have, already, easy to read and understand. Your English, flow, and grammar, at least on all of the blogs I have read (of yours) is first rate, so, is there some issues on your site?
I can see a banch of us will be dropped if no sale after 180 days. I got that message yesterday too and couldn't figure out what happens after that.
I got the same message from Amazon. I have until March to make a sale, or I'm dropped. I'm in the same situation. I'll be checking back to see if you got any answers.
