What to do When You Have Writer's Block
I'm sure it's happened to all of us at some time or other. You need to write something, but you keep coming up blank. Well I found a great source of inspiration when that happens. Maybe you already know about it. I go to quora.com. I get updates every day from them and exploring the questions and answers is a rich source of new ideas every time. I've even been asked to answer a couple of questions when they have come up in my niche.
For example, just today I found some great new ideas for my pets website such as:
- Can your dog remember your face?
- What does your pet do that is not normal?
- How intelligent are cats?
And here are some great questions that will make you stop and think, and they all came from Quora today:
- What is the greatest secret to wealth?
- What single question changed your life?
- What do you sometimes compare yourself to?
So if you're running out of ideas of what to write about, check out Quora.com, subscribe to their alerts and you'll always have a well of fresh new ideas to draw from, no matter what your niche may be. I hope this helps.

Hello Carol, thank you for your useful blog post, I must admit, although I had heard of http://quora.com/ I didn't actually know what it is. I think I'll actually sign up for it as it looks quite interesting and useful.
Have a very good weekend Carol, Roy.
I love Quora and is one of the things I get in my email most days. There's so many different ways to find things to write about that it really can seem endless. You just have to do it and be willing to take the time to do research. You will find new topics to write about.
I've skimmed Quora...never thought of it as a destination site for writer's block. Thanks. ~ t
Very helpful Carol. Thank you so much. My wife thinks that I have fallen asleep at the computer when I am actually trying to come up with a topic.
